CLUB BBQ
The scheduled BBQ for Saturday after the Netherfield game was a washout, therefore the next BBQ will take place on Saturday 12th July after the 2nd XI's home game as the 1st XI are playing across the park at Westgate.

The next COMMITTEE MEETING will be held on Tuesday 8th July at the club following the nets sessions.

CUP NEWS
In the DIVISION 2 MILNTHORPE TAXIS TROPHY, the 1st XI have beaten GALGATE and MOOR HOSPITAL in their quest for the trophy. This means they progress to the Semi-Finals where they will face WARTON A at BURNESIDE's ground, Ellergreen Park, on Sunday 20th July.
This tournament sees the introduction of the new 20/20 rules on a one year trial basis.

A new style of competition has also been introduced in the DIVISION 4 WOODBRIDGE AND MOUNSEY CUP for 2008 where Round 1 will be played as a 'Round Robin' competition. This will give each team 4 games in which 20/20 rules will also apply. The 2nd XI have been re-drawn in a newly regionalised GROUP B (due to travelling implications) which includes GALGATE A, HEYSHAM A, MORECAMBE 4ths and TRIMPELL 3rds. The winners of each group will go through to the Semi-Finals, to be held at a neutral ground.
The Second XI have beaten Galgate A, Trimpell 3rds and Morecambe 4ths in their 'round robin' matches and only Heysham A stand in the way of their pursuit of the semi-finals, as winners of Group B. The match will be played on Monday 30th June, with a 6.15pm start.
